About Fluid Consulting
Fluid Consulting was established in 2020 when founder Tabitha Curley recognized a clear need for communications and engagement services that truly reflected the priorities of Indigenous communities. While working at the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation and Wilfrid Laurier University’s Women Entrepreneurship Centre, Tabitha grew the business steadily, responding to increasing demand for culturally grounded expertise.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic and the demands of new motherhood in 2021, Tabitha continued to expand her client base and strengthen her practice. In spring 2022, she transitioned Fluid Consulting into a full-time venture, positioning the firm to better support Indigenous organizations, municipalities, and community partners across the region.
The Team
Tabitha Curley - Owner and Lead Strategist
Guiding the Fluid Team is Tabitha Curley, a proud member of Six Nations of the Grand River from the Beaver Clan of the Onondaga Nation. With over a decade of experience in communicating with Indigenous communities, Tabitha served as the former Manager of Communications and Stakeholder Relations for the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation.
Sarah Granger - Project Manager
Joining Fluid Consulting in January 2023, Sarah Granger assumes the role of Project Manager, overseeing the strategic planning of all projects. Before her tenure at Fluid Consulting, Sarah showcased her expertise in planning and executing large-scale signage projects for major North American retail and restaurant brands.
Crystal Castellan - Communications Consultant
Welcoming Crystal Castellan to the team in May 2023, Fluid Consulting gains the expertise of a Communications Consultant. A member of the Eagle Clan, Onkweonwe, Crystal specializes in meeting clients' copywriting needs, bringing valuable experience from her background in corporate retail management and hospitality.
